Leasehold Enfranchisement Finalist ALEP

Very few law firms can claim specialist expertise in enfranchisement and Wallace is one of the handful of firms who dominate this area.

Under the new rules for leasehold enfranchisement and collective enfranchisement, tenants of a block of flats can compel their landlord to sell the freehold interest to them. In addition, each individual tenant has the right to acquire a 90 year lease extension. The legislation sets out a formal procedure which must be followed in each case.
