Andrew specialises in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, MBOs/MBIs and restructuring and represents private equity, venture capital, family office and ultra-high net worth and high net worth clients. 

Andrew has a particular focus on the fintech sector, and has worked with start-ups in a full range of matters from early-stage capital raisings through to disposals.  He has also developed a specialism in providing advice in respect of family investment companies.  He has earned a good reputation for his commercial acumen and ability to evaluate complex legal issues quickly.

Andrew is the official legal adviser to the Taipei Representative Office in the United Kingdom, the de facto Embassy of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

  • acting on several acquisitions for the ParentPay group, a leading provider of online cashless payment systems for schools and families.

  • acting on certain share and business acquisition transactions for an AIM-listed holding company of an educational group providing online services worldwide.

  • acting for Hervines Specialist Care Group Ltd upon its acquisition of Omega (Elifar) Limited.

  • acting for the sellers and management team of a highly sophisticated software company in a private equity deal sale to the Carlyle Group.

  • acting on a capital reduction demerger of a large group of companies in order to separate the two distinct business operations conducted by the group.

  • acting on several EIS capital raises, including the an EIS investment by Edition Capital into artisanal coffee chain, Watch House Capital Holdings Limited.
