Laura is a talented and highly valued member of our corporate team. She provides commercially tailored advice to owner managed companies on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, capital restructuring, employee incentive schemes (such as EMI share option schemes) and has experience of advising on transactions with multi-jurisdiction elements. She also frequently advises borrowers and lenders in relation to multi-million pound financing arrangements and the related security.

Work Highlights
Assisting the founders and management team of Livingstone Technologies on the sale of a majority shareholding in the company to the Carlyle Group. The management team retained a substantial stake in the company and will continue to run it.
For nearly a decade has formed part of the team providing all aspects of corporate and commercial advice to the procurement consultancy business Efficio, including in relation to various employee incentive schemes and advising the founders and management team when Efficio obtained significant equity investment.
Advising one of the firm’s Fortune 500 clients on a strategic acquisition in the UK.
Advising numerous clients on putting in place EMI share option schemes, and subsequently on the exercise of the EMI options, in particular as part of a larger M&A transaction.
Advising the founders of award-winning creative agency Social Life Media on the sale to Jellyfish.
