Donal is a Consultant (Senior Associate) in the commercial litigation and banking & financial services litigation teams.
Donal focuses primarily on complex commercial and financial disputes, representing multinational corporates, financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals on litigation and arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Donal trained with a Magic Circle law firm in London and subsequently practiced in Dubai, Dublin and London. He has represented clients in disputes concerning several jurisdictions throughout Europe, the Middle East and other offshore jurisdictions. This includes acting in many high-value international arbitration proceedings across a variety of sectors (including banking, construction and energy disputes) and arbitral rules (ICC, LCIA and DIAC).
Donal is especially experienced in the international enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards and has successfully implemented complex multi-jurisdictional enforcement strategies, encompassing the use of worldwide freezing orders and insolvency procedures.
