Wallace advises the shareholders of TechQuarters on its sale to Babble

The Wallace corporate and employment teams recently advised founder and CEO, Chris Dunning, Operations Director, Mark O’Dell and other management shareholders on the sale of TechQuarters to Babble.

TechQuarters implements and supports Microsoft Cloud Solutions providing digital transformation to UK businesses. In supporting its 450 UK clients which are mainly SMEs, TechQuarters has previously been named Microsoft World Cloud Partner of the Year for SMBs.

Founded by Chris Dunning and now managed day-to-day by Mark O’Dell, those two main shareholders have built strong systems and processes to help automate and scale the business and develop a highly successful remote and off-shore model for 24/7 IT support.

Babble is a fast-growing, private equity backed business which has concluded nearly 30 acquisitions since 2019.

John Woodhouse, Sabrina Mitchell and Jess Daly provided the corporate advice to shareholders. Leigh Janes advised on the employment aspects of the transaction.

Wallace dealt with all our legal aspects of the TechQuarter’s sale to Babble Cloud. We chose them because they had a good track record, were easy to get on and we sensed they would work well with sellers solicitors during the sale. The whole process went smoothly, we felt in a safe pair of hands, having excellent advice along the way. They helped negotiate our way through the deal with ease and got us to the best result. I intend to use them again moving forward and recommend them to anyone for this type of transaction.
