Wallace client, Daniel Freedman founded London & Capital and led the company until his untimely death in 2019.

US private equity house Lovell Minnick Partners has bought a majority stake in the UK-based wealth management firm – a business with over 30 years experience in the sector looking after high net worth individuals including those with American connections.

The Wallace team was led by Managing Partner Rex Newman who was assisted by Ilya Alexandrov also in the corporate team at Wallace. Charles Russell Speechlys acted for the company, Fox Williams for the management and Proskauer Rose for LMP.

It is of the first importance for my family to protect the company’s heritage and to secure its future. We believe this transaction will achieve those goals. We are grateful to Rex for his wise counsel, steering us through the complexities of the deal, while mindful of the commercial and personal realities
